So What’s Next? presenteert het populaire Amerikaanse fusionjazz collectief Snarky Puppy, dat onlangs het nieuwe album Immigrance uitbracht. De groep rondom bandleider en bassist Michael League bestaat uit zo’n 25 roulerende bandleden, waarvan iedereen er een indrukwekkende muzikale carrière op na houdt. Waar de een sideman is bij Erykah Badu, Snoop Dogg of Kendrick Lamar is de ander producer van o.a. Kirk Franklin, David Crosby en Salif Keïta. Om nog maar niet te spreken over de geniale solisten Bill Laurence en Shaun Martin (toetsenisten) en Bob Reynolds (saxofonist).

Het nieuwe album, met o.a. de single Xavi, gaat volgens Michael League over ‘movement’. “The idea here is that everything is fluid, that everything is always moving and that we’re all in a constant state of immigration. Obviously the album’s title is not without political undertones,” zegt League daarover.

So What’s Next? presents the popular, American fusion-jazz collective Snarky Puppy, that recently released their new albm Immigrance. The group, gathered around bandleader and bassist Michael League exists of 25 roulating musicians of which each of them has his own impressive musical career. As a sideman with Erykah Badu, Snoop Dogg or Kendrick Lamar or as producer of Kirk Franklin, David Crosby en Salif Keïta. Not to mention the excellent solists Bill Laurence and Shaun Martin on keys and Bob Reynolds on saxophone.

Beside the concerts of Snarky Puppy and Cécile McLorin Salvant there will be over 10 support acts, spread out over the entire Muziekgebouw. With ticket for one of these shows you have access to all support acts.
